Happy Holidays!

It's with a bit of luck and creative circumstance that Minion and I found ourselves playing the elf gig in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Everything in Santa Fe is red or green chili or both. The bloody marys are chili infused, the people are chili infused--it's Caliente!

As always, Minion and I drove. On I-40, in the panhandle of Texas, near the town of Groom is an incredibly giant cross. Minion and I nearly drove off the road! Not that the cross really affects us, but we wondered if the town was trying to ward off vampires. Seems to me that they should be more worried about Chupacabra.

A new temporary job

Whoever said that it was easy being a vampire?

Low cash flow has thwarted my plans for a Mexican holiday. Minion and I took jobs as Santa's elves to give us some ready cash. I hate that it really impinges on my traditional wardrobe, but it can't be helped.

However, it does offer great holiday snacking opportunities.

Oh no, I wouldn't bite little children! St. Nick isn't a feasible treat either, although sitting with children for photos is pretty mind numbing.  He does need to be coherent.

But the photographer is really cute. Maybe I should add him to my clan........

Hello

The movie was a lot of fun, but it was also a lot of work. Minion and I are very excited about it, but we needed a rest, so we found a nice quiet crypt to hang in for a while. Now we are ready to roll again.

The holiday season is a great time for snacking. All those busy shoppers...they are so unaware. A little nibble here and there. It's like a smorgasbord, only there's a higher sugar content this time of year. Sometimes a hint of pumpkin.

See you on the prowl.
